Genotype is very useful information for the first dose of some medications. For example, DoseMeRx supports the genetic data in the warfarin model as optional parameters. This can change your starting dose from 1mg daily to 7mg – a significant difference based on your genes!

The current drug models available within DoseMeRx that support patient genotype include warfarin and tacrolimus. 

Tip: You don't need your patient's genotype to use DoseMeRx, although if you have it and our model supports it, we recommend recording this information if readily available.
