In many cases, DoseMeRx is already accounting for the variance between your target population and the population in which the drug model was developed.

An exception to this would be for calculating initial doses. If you’re using DoseMeRx regularly to estimate the first dose to be given to a patient, you may gain benefits by customizing a drug model.
